Now this is how breakfast should look like! Yumm!
I’m sure I’ve already mentioned this before but I am really not a morning person and that includes skipping breakfast not unless there’s breakfast buffet at a hotel/resort that I’m staying in or a breakfast date with my girls, then count me in!
If you’ve been MIA and didn’t know Circa 1900 has a new addition to their lovely restaurant then you are totally missing out! (You can read all about it here) Last month, I was invited over for breakfast with my girls and who am I to say no? I have been to the place a few times already for lunch and dinner and I’m happy that they now serve breakfast at Cicada of Circa 1900 Casa Dos. Nothing beats a great view with good food on a very lovely morning with wonderful people surrounding you.
Their breakfast menu includes five different categories, namely Fit, Indulge, Organic, Pinoy and Hungry. We got to try one of each category. Everything was so good buttttt you shouldn’t leave before tasting the Crocodile Tocino! Cooked like a Tocino, yes but ughhhhhh it’s so de.li.cious!
Sliced Fresh Tropical Fruit with Honey & Strawberry Citrus Dip – P195
Eggs Any Style with Hash Browns, Beef Sausage, Bacon, Sauté Garlic Mushrooms, Roast Tomato & Toast – P375
(Includes 2 Eggs that can either be poached, scrambled or fried)
Crocodile Tocino – P295
English Muffins with Salmon Gravlax & Creamy Scrambled Eggs – P315
2 Fresh Organic Eggs served with Thick Cut Wholemeal Toast – P185
Eggs can either be boiled, fried, poached or scrambled
Fried Eggs & Garlic Rice with choice of 2 items, Homemade Beef Tenderloin Tapa, Longaniza, Homemade Chicken Tocino or Danggit – P270
Oh yea btw, all eggs offered here are supplied from a local farm here in Cebu and are purely organic. Organic means that the chickens are naturally taken care of and not being injected with preservatives and enhancers. Dining here is like hitting two birds in one stone – You get to support local farmers while having good food at the same time!
Ostrich Tapa – P295
